Sunday was a great day. I went for a walk, organized my closet, scooted to Boulder for lunch with Matt and played a short round of disc golf.
After arriving home, I could feel a headache starting. I hid in the basement, but eventually went to bed. At 6 PM with the sun blazing outside. My head felt like this:
After 12 hours of sleep and some migraine medicine, I'm ready to start the week. I am just amazed at how quickly a migraine can knock me on my ass.

My Legs
When I think about my legs, I consider the following:
I have hiked more than 14,000+ feet multiple times.
I walked out of a hospital.
I marched down the aisle to get married to the love of my life.
I pedaled through NYC's 5 boroughs.
I stood on a surf board in the Pacific ocean.
I snowboarded down the Rockies.
My legs carried me on snowshoes during hut trips.
I strolled across the stage to receive my bachelor's degree.
I've stood in rivers to catch fish.
I stomp to create Rocky Mountain Thunder at Invesco.
I sauntered across the stage to receive my master's degree.
Freckles decorate my legs.
I walked my dogs throughout our neighborhood.
I danced with my husband.
My legs are not long. My legs are not thin. My legs are pale. My legs are healthy and strong. My legs are powerful. They are beautiful and wonderful. I love my legs.
Did you miss me?
It's been a long time! As you'll see from my previous posts, I originally created this blog as a classroom assignment in graduate school. I haven't touched it for a few years. I decided to leave the classroom posts as a trip down memory lane.
Recently, I've been having conversations in my head and thought it was time to share my thoughts with the rest of you. This may turn into a bulldog blog, but I hope that I can touch on other topics too: Colorado, family, Broncos, reading, me...
I look forward to hearing comments, thoughts, questions, etc., from you.
